Renee Lee Ann Franklin was elected in 2014 and is now serving her sixth term as a council member for the City of Benbrook, where she has lived since 2001. Renee values her family and serves as a foster mom to dogs in need, helping them find forever homes.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Nicholls State University and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government & Public Service. Renee’s dedication to continued education has earned her a Certificate of Recognition from the Texas Municipal League for six consecutive years.
Professionally, Renee works as a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for a global payment processing company. She founded Resources, Love, and Faith Inc., a nonprofit supporting individuals and organizations in need, and operates Customizing Solutions, which offers mathematical mentoring and organizational services.
A strong advocate for health, animal welfare, and community service, Renee supports several local organizations and events, including 4 PAWS Inc., the Benbrook Lions Club, the Benbrook YMCA Board, American Legion Auxiliary Post 297, the Benbrook Trash Bash, the Women’s Victory over Violence Walk, and the YMCA Fort Worth Turkey Trot.
