Household Hazardous Waste

To properly dispose of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), the City of Benbrook offers collection events twice yearly; one event in the spring and one in the fall. These events are free for Benbrook residents.

Proof of Benbrook residency (driver’s license or water bill) is required.

Please note: Due to space constraints, paint drop-off at HHW events is limited to 30 gallons per household. Empty or dried-out paint containers can be placed in household trash.

Events scheduled for 2023:
This year, the City will only host one hazardous waste collection event. This event will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Dutch Branch Park, off Winscott Road, in the rear parking lot behind Par 3 Golf (follow signs) from 9:00am - 11:00am (or until the collection trailer is full).
