Elderly and Disabled Transportation

The City of Benbrook contracts with Trinity Metro (the Fort Worth Transportation Authority) and works in partnership with Catholic Charities of Worth to provide transit service to Benbrook residents who are age 65 or older or are disabled.

Benbrook residents can schedule rides for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, but rides can only be guaranteed rides on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Mondays and Wednesdays, routes and times sometimes do not allow for service to Benbrook.

Riders are encouraged to schedule important trips such as medical appointments on guaranteed days. There is no service on weekends or holidays.

To register and ride:

  • To register for the program and/or schedule a trip, call 817-336-8714.
  • Requests are taken Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., two to seven working days in advance of the desired trip date.
  • Trips may be scheduled for medical appointments, shopping, recreation, school, or work.
  • One-way fare is $2.50 per person.
  • As noted above, Benbrook residents are guaranteed rides only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
