I would suggest a skate park similar to the one in Grandbury TX. Arlington, Lewisville, and Roanoke have one as well, however all of these are more than 30 minutes away so it would be great to have a place for our youth to practice their skating! This keeps young adults/kids in a monitored area to congregate and socialize versus having them roam the streets. Our park is amazing but it mainly appeals to younger kids. My son is now 10 and getting into skate boarding. He has met three other kids his age in a four block radius from us who also skate. This would be a great benefit to our youth and the parents who currently drive them to other parks.
