Trash, Recycling, Environmental Programs

The City of Benbrook offers programs to responsibly manage waste within our community. Residential and commercial waste hauling is provided through a contract with Allied Waste/Republic Services. All residents and businesses within Benbrook city limits are required, by city ordinance, to utilize this waste hauling company:

New Residents and Billing Information

The Benbrook Water Authority (BWA), 1121 Mercedes Street, is the billing agent for refuse/recycling service in Benbrook. The monthly residential fee is $14.14 per month (effective January 1, 2018), including sales tax.

New residents will be signed up for refuse/recycling service when opening a water service account. Residents may pick up blue recycle bins at that time.

Trash Bash

The 2018 Benbrook Trash Bash will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Dutch Branch Park. For more information, contact the City of Benbrook at 817-249-3000.

Environmental Programs

As a Keep Texas Beautiful Affiliate, the City of Benbrook hosts volunteer projects to remove litter/debris from parks and roadways, encourages recycling, and offers stand-alone electronic waste/document shredding events throughout the year. Check the City Events page for upcoming events.
